Subprocessors

The technical inventory of active external services. It identifies what reaches each service; live contract and transfer details need separate verification.

How to read this

A service appears here only where the app can send it data. Stripe is used when you start or manage a paid plan. The Clerk provider and middleware are loaded on matched application requests, with additional account and session processing when you sign in or use an account feature. An external AI service receives submitted content only when you use the corresponding AI feature.

This is a technical inventory of active product paths. Provider contracts, data-processing terms, locations, and transfer safeguards must be assessed against the live account configuration rather than inferred from this page.

AI services and submitted content

Curie sends questions and selected calculator context to its configured external AI service. Reader sends submitted document text to its configured Reader service. AI Scan sends uploaded image bytes to its configured image-transcription service only when AI Scan is enabled and used. These features are optional.

The processor table identifies the external services that receive different categories of data. Their current processing locations, retention terms, and transfer safeguards must be reviewed against the live service accounts. For current contractual documentation, email hello@aliquotchem.com.

The calculators, converter, safety data, and reference tables remain available without an AI request.

What service providers do not receive through Aliquot

Saved protocols, reagent inventory, calculation history, and timers do not reach an Aliquot endpoint by default, because they stay in your browser. Choosing Ask Curie about a calculation explicitly sends the selected inputs, results, and working with that AI request. Curie and Reader text otherwise reaches the relevant external AI service only to answer the request, and AI Scan images reach its configured image-transcription service only for enabled AI Scan requests.

Changes

This list changes when the software changes, in the same release, because the page is generated from the same file the privacy policy reads. If you are an institutional customer and want to be told before a processor is added, write to hello@aliquotchem.com and we will put you on the notice list. That is a promise we can keep because there are so few of them.
