What is the catch?

There is a paid tier for individuals who want exports, LaTeX, printable formula sheets, and higher AI limits. Every calculator, every shown derivation, and every hazard flag is free and always will be, because correctness is not something to charge for. Your students never have to pay to do the course.

Do students need an account?

No. There is no sign-up anywhere in the flow. Their saved work stays in their own browser and is never uploaded. Nothing is collected that would need a data-processing conversation with your institution.

Can I trust the numbers?

Every calculation runs through a tested engine with over 900 automated tests behind it, and every result shows its substitution so it can be checked by eye. The worked examples and practice problems on the site are computed by that same engine rather than written by hand, so an answer key cannot drift from the maths.

Is it a safety tool?

No, and it says so on every page. It surfaces GHS hazard information as a prompt to check properly. The safety data sheet and your institution's protocols remain the authority.

What do you want from us?

To be told when it is wrong, and eventually to know whether it helped. If prep errors in submitted reports drop, that is the only number that matters here.

Will it still exist next year?

A fair question to ask a small project. The calculators work offline once loaded, the pages are static, and there is no server a student depends on to do arithmetic. If it were abandoned tomorrow, the tool in their browser would keep working.
