Instruction on withdrawal
Right of withdrawal. You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day the contract was concluded.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform us by means of a clear declaration of your decision to withdraw from this contract:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Consequences of withdrawal. If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We will use the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in no event will you be charged any fees for such reimbursement.
If you requested that the provision of services begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an amount which is in proportion to what has been provided until you have communicated your withdrawal, in comparison with the full coverage of the contract.

How we handle it in practice
The paragraph about a proportionate payment is the law, and we are required to state it. What we actually do: for a subscription costing a few euro that has been active for a few days, we refund the whole amount and bill nothing. You are not going to receive an invoice for four days of a calculator.
One email is enough. You do not need the form, a reason, or a phone call, and you do not need to wait for a reply before the deadline counts as met.
Who has this right
The right of withdrawal is a consumer right. It applies if you are buying for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession. A laboratory, university department, or company buying a plan for its staff is not a consumer and has no statutory withdrawal right, though our refund practice still applies as a matter of goodwill.
What this does not affect
The free tier involves no payment and needs no withdrawal. Your saved protocols, inventory, and history live on your own device and are untouched by anything that happens to a subscription; exports keep working on the free tier.
This right sits alongside, and does not replace, your ordinary statutory rights if something is defective or not as described.
