How do you calculate oligo resuspension?

Resuspend a lyophilized primer to a stock concentration. The relationship used is V = nmol / C.

What you are given

  • Amount (nmol): 45
  • Target stock (µM): 100

Formula: V = nmol / C

The working

  1. Solve for volume: volume_µL = (nmol / targetConc_µM) · 1000
  2. Substitute: volume_µL = (45 nmol / 100 µM) · 1000 = 450 µL

Add 450 µL of buffer (TE or water) to make a 100 µM stock.
