What you are given
- Standard conc: 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10
- Standard signal: 0.05, 0.25, 0.45, 0.65, 0.85, 1.05
- Sample signal: 0.55
Formula: C = (A − blank − intercept) / slope
Fit a standard curve, subtract the blank, and back-calculate protein with dilution. The relationship used is C = (A − blank − intercept) / slope.
Worked example
Formula: C = (A − blank − intercept) / slope
Bradford (linear) = linearnet = signal − blank = 0standard curve = 1applied to unknowns = 1×Sample 1 = 5 (R² 1)
